Ray Charbonnier

President

Vladimir Vudler

V.P. of Research and Development
Vladimir has over 30 years of experience in the design of optical components and systems, and has been with Hardric since 1998. One of his roles at Hardric is to assist customers with design issues regarding mirrors and components manufactured from beryllium and its alloys. Prior to coming to Hardric Laboratories, for 12 years Vladimir worked for GSI Lumonics as a Senior Optical R&D Engineer. Vladimir has an Engineering degree in Physics from the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and a B.S. in Geology and Geophysics from Northeastern University. Vladimir is a naturalized citizen who has resided in the United States for more than 30 years.

Roger Johnson

Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Roger has more than 30 years of experience in the machining of beryllium and its alloys, having started working at Hardric after graduation from technical high school. During his years at Hardric, Roger has designed and manufactured much of the tooling and fixtures used at Hardric to heat treat beryllium, hold parts and material during the machining process, and other fixtures used in the grinding and polishing of bare beryllium in the Optics area. Roger is fully qualified on the Pro/E software used for programming the CNC machines.

Michael Kornik

Director of Quality
Michael has more than 25 years of experience in quality and program management, and has been with Hardric Laboratories since 2007. Prior to Hardric, Michael worked in quality management at Barr Associates (now part of Materion) and the Alden Research Laboratory. Michael also worked as a Program Manager for infrared lens manufacturer Janos Technology and as an Applications Engineer for thin-film coating company Omega Optical. His education includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Central New England College and an M.B.A. from Bentley University.

 

Hardric Laboratories has been a leading manufacturer of beryllium components since 1954, supporting both prototype and production levels of volume.
